FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, namely production of iron ore pellets.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of feeding wet charge to pelletizing apparatus in two flows; feeding one of said flows into primary flow of compressed gas heated up to temperature 30 - 350°C; creating at least one stream of gas-wet charge; additionally feeding along axis of said stream secondary flow of wet compressed or ventilating gas with temperature no more than 100°C through duct provided with changeable nozzle adapter. Flow rate of said gas consists of 0.1 - 0.6 of flow rate of primary compressed gas and its moisture content is in range 5 - 500 g/m3. Charge of second flow is subjected to pelletizing at forming descending and ascending layers of pellets; said pellets are treated by deposition of wet charge of first flow.
EFFECT: improved strength of pellets.
