FIELD: construction, particularly erection of pile foundations of tubular piles with opened lower ends to be erected in soft ground.

SUBSTANCE: foundation comprises tubular pile with opened lower end, post arranged in the pile and resting upon ground. The post may slide with respect to pile walls. Capping is installed on the post so that space is defined between the capping and the pile to estimate post base submersion. Pile foundation erection method involves driving tubular pile with opened lower end in ground; removing soft ground from pile interior; leveling ground surface; compacting ground; laying drainage system and installing post on compacted ground so that space is left between capping supported by post and tubular pile to compensate pile submersion in ground.
