SUBSTANCE: one should detect the content of alpha-2-macroglobulin (MG) and lactoferrin (LF) in blood serum to calculate their ratio K according to the following formula: K=MG/LF where MG - the concentration of alpha-2-macroglobulin, g/l; LF - the concentration of lactoferrin, mcg/ml. At K values being above 1.2 one should diagnose the absence of destruction in uterine adnexa, at its values ranging 0.5-1.2 it is possible to establish localized focus of purulent-necrotic destruction in uterine adnexa, at its values being below 0.5 one should state upon wide-spread purulent-destructive process of uterine adnexa at involving neighboring organs. The innovation provides the good chance to carry out the treatment in due time.
