FIELD: medicine, diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to evaluate the degree of venous wall dilation in venous collectors of small pelvis at transvaginal ultrasound investigation due to measuring their diameter both before and after carrying out functional sampling to increase intra-abdominal pressure. For the purpose to increase intra-abdominal pressure it is necessary to perform the following procedures: a patient should lift his bent knees towards a stomach and at increased diameter of tested vein for 2 mm against the initial value and more it is possible to diagnose its varicosis.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and information value of diagnostics.
