FIELD: medicine; gynecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to gynecology. Preliminarily, under the control of the laparoscope with the horizontal position of the patient’s body on operation table, possible pathological changes in the abdominal cavity are excluded. Then a functional test is performed, for which the operation table is moved, during which the upper part of patient’s body is lifted and the lower part of the patient's body is lowered, creating a subdiaphragmal pneumoperitoneum, determining the consistency of the walls and valvular apparatus of the ovarian veins.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the accuracy of detection of latent forms of varicose veins, intraoperatively assess the damage to the pelvic veins and evaluate the results of surgical treatment, and also prevents the likelihood of a relapse of surgical treatment and re-operative intervention.
