FIELD: mineral protective coatings.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coating processes via sputtering molten material and can be utilized in chemical industry, mechanical engineering, power engineering, and metallurgy. Process consists in manufacturing porous coating using thermal sputtering technique. Coating is composed of aluminum, 1-7%, alumina, 1-12%, glass powder, 1-3%, and hydrotalcite-coated composite powder - the rest. In specific embodiment of invention, sputtering operation is followed by mechanical and/or thermal treatment of semifinished product.
EFFECT: strengthened adhesion of coating to substrate and increased free surface area.
