FIELD: technology for processing colored images, possible use for receiving, recognizing, visualizing images of colored objects.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to invention, information about colored image is inputted into computer. Performed further is successive comparison of a set of image pixels with second set of pixels recorded in memory and characterizing color space of visualization device. Also performed is selection of coinciding pixels, on basis of which appropriate colored image is generated and visualized. Before input into computer of information about image being recognized, formed in advance and indicated on visualization device is information about image of standard test and color perception of this test in form of pixel images by user. With help of operator, identity of perception of standard test and aforementioned image by user is determined. Image is corrected using identification table by replacing coordinates and color of pixels of image being recognized with coordinates and color of modified pixels appropriate for them.

EFFECT: production of image with consideration of individual perception of color gamma by user.
