FIELD: quantum electronics, possible use during technological operations, in medicine, ecology and other engineering areas.
SUBSTANCE: closed cycle impulse-periodic gas laser includes body in form of two covers, power source, resonator on ends of chamber, system for cleaning gas environment and device for pumping it and heat exchanger. Covers are mounted one inside another with discharge chamber between them. Heat exchanger and means for cleaning gases are made in form of unified unit, represented by closed metallic meshed frame, filled with means for cleaning gas environment and mounted in the space between covers without gap. Pumping means is mounted between internal cover and closed meshed frame.
EFFECT: creation of compact structure of laser, providing constancy of energy in laser radiation impulses during extensive time of operation of laser in impulse-periodic mode, increased efficiency of laser.
