FIELD: industrial laser systems. SUBSTANCE: active population of laser is excited by dependent discharge. It contains mix of air with carbon dioxide. Active population of laser is ionized by electron beam which is generated electron gun which operates in pulse-periodic mode. Pressure in gas-discharge chamber is in range of 100-1000 mm of mercury column. Current density of electron beam in pulse at output of electron gun conforms to condition Je[mA/sm2] ≥ 10-5•p2[Topp2].
