FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, technique for grinding and uniform dispensing of feeds.

SUBSTANCE: dispenser-grinder has hopper, grinding unit located within hopper and equipped with drum and shear deck. Deck is pivotally mounted on front shaft of feeding conveyor for fixed rotation around its axis. Drum and shear deck are equipped with cutting and shear segments, respectively. Supporting shaft is fixed on side wall of hopper. Rear arcuate wall of hopper is pivotally connected with frame of dispenser-grinder for fixed rotation by means of hydraulic cylinders. Arcuate shape of rear wall of hopper facilitates in self-loading of round fodder bales and fixed rotation eliminates engagement of first round bale with second round bale in grinding operating mode.

EFFECT: wider operational capabilities of dispenser-grinder and reduced power consumption.
