FIELD: medicine, neurosurgery.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with microsurgical removal of tumor at applying Nd-YAG laser ray at wave length being 1064 nm. Moreover, one should dissect tumor's capsule in ablation mode (F4) at power being about 30-40 W, surface coagulation - in contact mode fibertom at power being 15-20 W, thermodestruction of tumor parenchyma - in contact-free, standard mode (F1) at power being 50-60 W. Tumor parts either overgrowing with or joined with facial nerve, caudal group of nerves, the branches of anterior-inferior cerebellar artery and stem structures - in contact-free, standard mode (F1) at power being 10-20 W. Application of the present method enables to increase radicalness of operation and decrease traumatism of craniocerebral nerves, vessels and stem structures.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
