FIELD: protective device for isolation of dangerously explosive or suspicious objects.

SUBSTANCE: the protective device has a cylindrical housing open from the axial ends and at least one protective ring containing several layers of fabric of the splinter-proof type. The cylindrical housing is made for installation on the surface with one of the ends and keeping practically vertically for isolation of the suspicious object lying on the ground. The device has the second cylindrical housing enveloping the first cylindrical housing and having at least one protective ring containing several layers of fabric of splinter-proof type. The second cylindrical housing is made for sliding relative to the first cylindrical housing. The protective ring is made by winding of a belt of fabric of the splinter-proof type and has at least one axial lap seam. The cylindrical housing has a strengthening ring containing at least one layer of material possessing a hardness sufficient for holding the cylindrical housing in the vertical position at its installation on one of the ends. The cylindrical housing has at least one strengthening clip enveloping the cylindrical housing, on inner protective layer of the fire-proof type. The second housing is somewhat longer than the first housing. The first and second cylindrical housings are inter-connected by a flexible coupling. The length of the flexible coupling is estimated so that at its tension overlapping of the first cylindrical housing by the second cylindrical housing is maintained. The flexible coupling is made in the form of a circular skirt or in the form of a great number of wedges.

EFFECT: provided effective protection at a blast and prevented propagation of the shock wave and splinters.
