SUBSTANCE: method involves placing flower stems in reservoir filled with water or nutrient solution; processing water or nutrient solution in electrodialyzer having electrode made in the form of silver plate switched to power source positive terminal; bringing alkalinity to pH value of 10-12 and silver ion concentration to 0.7-0.9 mg/l.
EFFECT: prolonged retention of cut flowers in fresh state.
