FIELD: medicine, obstetrics.
SUBSTANCE: due to ultrasound trial it is necessary to measure the length, the width and anterior-posterior uterine size in dynamics to calculate the index of the rate of uterine involution (I) by the following formula: I = (A - B)/C, where A - the estimated size in case of the first trial; B - that of at repeated trial; C - the number of days of puerperal period between the trials conducted. At getting the indices for the uterine length and the width being below 0.4, and for anterior-posterior size - below 0.2 one should conclude upon affected rate of uterine involution and predict the chance for the development of inflammatory complications in puerperal period, after surgical and spontaneous parturitions.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of detection.
