FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out ultrasonic examination of the uterus at the third - seventh day in postoperative period. Length and width of sutures is measured. Area and individual involution index of the sutures on the uterus (I3) is calculated using mathematical formula. 13 ≥ 1 being the case, wound healing process is considered as secondary adhesion leading to conjunctive tissue cicatrix formation. High probability of cicatrix inconsistency signs to appear during the next pregnancy is predicted. I3 <1 is interpreted as physiological value showing that postoperative cicatrix is to be distinguished by predominated muscle tissue. It is predicted that the next pregnancy could result in delivery through natural maternal passages. EFFECT: high accuracy in evaluating nature of wound adhesion.
