FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has at least three parts like lower plate and upper plate making hinged connection around the intermediate part called core formed as a result of supporting action given by bearing surfaces of said parts or sliding taking place between them. At least one of the parts has at least one projecting part or form being complementary to the form of at least one of the other parts forming restrictive member for restricting core movements. Said restrictive member has at least one restrictive member arranged outside relative to the bearing surfaces having at least one upright protruding from at least one plate. The upright is placed outside of bearing surface of the plate with one side directed inside of the prosthesis and being engageable with peripheral protruding core part being outside of its bearing surfaces. Surface is turned outside with respect to the core for restricting core movements, when performing translation, or rotation movement, or both movements in a plane being arranged mainly in perpendicular to the vertebral column. Means for introducing or setting prosthesis, has guide having internal entrance canal having supporting edges at the end directed along longitudinal canal axis that optionally take place of stretching instrument of known type previously used for increasing opening in disk space. The canal has internal section embracing the stretching instrument when supporting said opening and then withdrawing it via the canal when the supporting edges substitute the stretching instrument and retain disk space opening. Then, the canal is used for introducing and guiding the prosthesis when setting it into the disk space.
