FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relate to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics. Prosthesis contains at least three units, including first plate (1), second plate (2) and core (3), movable at least with respect to one of plates (1, 2). Core (3) contains curved surface in contact with at least part of conjugate curved surface of first plate (1) and in fact flat surface in contact with at least part of in fact flat surface of second plate (2), means of interaction (22, 31) located near second plate (2) periphery and core (3), which allows limiting or preventing displacement during forward core displacement relative to second plate (2) along axis in fact parallel to in fact flat surfaces, and allowing to limit or prevent displacements during core (3) turn relative to second plate (2) around axis, in fact, perpendicular to in fact flat surfaces. At least, in fact, flat core (3) surface contains at least one dead hole (41), facilitating sliding shift of core (3) relative to in fact flat surface of second plate (2), with which it is in contact. Device for inserting between two vertebra intervertebral disc prostheses, formed by first plate (1), second plate (2) and core (3) movable relative to second plate (2) contains clip (7) whose anterior surface (71) has form made for matching with form of anterior edge of prosthesis, and at least two edges of which are equipped with means (72) of gripping prosthesis. In region of prosthesis invention ensures limited displacements of different parts of prosthesis relative to each other, but in which displacement of core is facilitated in order to improve prosthesis characteristics when strain is applied to it.

EFFECT: in part of said device invention ensures preservation of prosthesis sterility, location of said prosthesis facing the opening made by surgeon between two vertebra, entering of said prosthesis into said opening with forward motion, in order to remove device leaving prosthesis inserted into said opening.
