FIELD: processes and equipment for automatization of production systems, possibly for rod orienting.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes housing mounted with inclination and having secured to it stationary central plug; receiving tray secured to upper part of housing; discharging tray and chute, both mounted in lower part of housing. Ring is mounted in housing; said ring has radial grooves, it is joined with housing and with central plug and it is mounted with possibility rotation around its own axis by means of drive mounted in housing. Said housing has windows and port; central plug has radial duct and recess communicated with it. In bottom of each radial groove there is seat. At operation of apparatus rod is transported in radial groove by means ring regardless from its position. If rod is oriented incorrectly it is stopped by means of seat, reoriented to target position by rotation of ring and it is removed to discharging tray at matching of radial groove with window of housing. If rod is oriented correctly, it is descended to recess and then it is shifted to chute along radial duct.
EFFECT: simplified design of apparatus for orienting stepped rods having steps along the whole perimeter of shoulder.
