FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking industry. Lumber is positioned and sawn. Edge-unsurfaced lumber are laid one onto another to level them in vertical plane of one of the sides and to cut off their edges. Lumber is displaced in crosswise direction, parallel with said vertical plane, relative to each other to level their opposite sides in vertical plane to obtain finished products. Angles of narrow sawn faces on the side of machined edges, at top part of every edge-unsurfaced lumber, are located in vertical plane while axis of symmetry run along every limber is parallel with saw-off plane. Machine tool central plate and pushing vises are equipped with extending stops arranged in horizontal and vertical rows over the entire length of segments being sawn out. Said stops are located level with lumber edges. The number of extending stops in every vertical row equals that of horizontal saws.
EFFECT: higher yield of finished products, decreased wastes.
