FIELD: machine engineering, possibly restoration of mounting openings for inserts of crankshafts of large-size cylinder units.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes reservoir for electrolyte, anode and tool for plastic deforming of part. Reservoir for electrolyte has two coaxial body flanges made with possibility of fluid-tightly embracing cavity of restored part and mutually joined through bracing members. Anode arranged in cavity of one of said flanges is in the form of hollow cylinder divided in axial direction by alternating electrically conducting and dielectric portions joined one to other while electrically conducting portions are joined with drive unit for their radial motion.
EFFECT: lowered cost price of part restoration, increased resource of engine due to desired quality of coating.
