SUBSTANCE: proposed system that can be used for generating terminal IP address basing on Internet Protocol version 6 (Ipv6) has at least one access protocol, access point, and router. Access terminal transfers first message about connection of medium access control (MAC) to protocol level including its own MAC address and field indicating fast address setting on access point. The latter receives first message about connection to MAC level from access terminal and finds out if there is duplicating MAC address with respect to access terminal MAC address in same subnet.
EFFECT: reduced time of determining access terminal protocol address.
