FIELD: method and apparatus for non-waste reprocessing of extraction cake from sunflower seeds useful in ruminant and non-ruminant animal feeding.
SUBSTANCE: extraction solvent-cake including husk particles, seed particles and husk with adherent seed particles is mechanically structured and ground, wherein seed particles adherent to husk are separated and fiber structure of coarse particles is improved due to cleavage into fibers and particles; sized by screening into two fractions with different content of crude protein and crude cellulose. Particles of husk (peeling) are collected to produce fraction containing at least 15 % of crude cellulose and having low content of crude protein; and particle of husk with adherent seed particles are collected to produce fraction containing more than 40 % crude protein and less than 10 % of crude cellulose.
EFFECT: plant protein feedstuff of high quality.
