SUBSTANCE: method for the sunflower meal refinement includes pre-grinding the meal with a mobile working body, sieving, fractionating by the grain size. The fractions are additionally ground and then sieved to obtain a product with the high protein content for feeding non-ruminant animals and poultry, a product with the low protein content for feeding ruminant animals, and a product with the high husk content. Wherein before the preliminary grinding, the meal is moistened. In the first separation after the preliminary grinding, the yield value of the largest fraction is measured. The moistening degree is set in direct proportion to the yield value of the largest fraction in the first separation after the preliminary grinding. The plant for refining sunflower meal includes a device for preliminary grinding with a mobile working body, a sieving and fractionating device, devices for transporting products, a technological line in the form of one or several stages. Wherein each stage is made of one or more series-connected units of grinding and fractionation. And each block is made up of a series-connected main milling unit in the form of a roller machine and a sieving device and fractionating in the form of a sieving-winnowing machine. The plant is equipped with an irrigating device and a dryer. Wherein the irrigating device is made in the form of a steam pipeline with nozzles and a water pipeline with an assembly of injectors that are installed in series in the transport device before the pre-grinding device, and the dryer is installed after the pre-grinding device.

EFFECT: invention allows to reduce the husk amount in the product with the high protein content and to reduce the protein amount in the product from husk.
