FIELD: food-processing industry, in particular, production of sunflower small shot/oilcake with high protein content and low cellulose content.

SUBSTANCE: method involves grinding small shot/oilcake; sieving and separating into fractions; forming flows of ready product from seed coat fraction and fraction with high protein content; providing preliminary grinding followed with processing at m≥1 stages, each of stages consisting of n≥1 grinding units and units for separating into fractions; successively providing main grinding by means of rolls, followed by sieving and separating into fractions; directing seed coat fraction from each unit, with n>1, to subsequent grinding unit and unit for separating into fractions, and directing respective seed coat fractions from subsequent unit of each stage into flow of ready product; directing remaining fractions to subsequent processing stages and/or one or number of fractions with high protein content of ready product. Apparatus has grinding device, sieving device and device for separation into fractions, and product transportation devices united into processing line by transportation system. Apparatus is further equipped with device for preliminary grinding of basic product. Processing line has m≥1 stages, each of stages consisting of n>1 grinding units and units for separating into fractions, said units being connected in series. Each subsequent unit has main grinding devices comprising roll machine, and also sieving device and device for separating into fractions, which are connected in series. Outlet of device for sieving and separating into fractions of terminating unit is connected to transportation channel for seed coat fraction of ready product.

EFFECT: provision for producing of sunflower small shot or oilcake with high content of protein and minimal content of seed coat impurities, and also of seed coat fractions with minimal amounts of particle impurities having high protein content.
