FIELD: mechanical engineering; methods of the multi-component shafts rolling.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular, to the finishing-strengthening machining of the workpieces in the form of the shafts by the surface plastic straining. The method provides for giving the rotational movement to the workpiece and giving the movement along the working surface to the gear containing the body with the disks, in which the deforming elements are mounted. The deforming elements are made in the form of the coils of the circinate steel screw cylindrical spring of the circular section. The spring is installed so that it could enclose the workpiece and with negative allowance concerning the latter. Perform the spring setting-up for the rolling force with the help of the device used for adjustment of the rolling force. The device for the rolling force adjustment is made in the form of two washers with the central threading holes hardly fixed on the butts of the spring coils and the screw with the left-side and the right-hand threads on its ends, which is screwed into the threading holes of the indicated washers. At that the spring is floatably installed between the disks of the body and allocate in the latter using the extension springs. As the result of it the invention allows to expand the production process capabilities, to increase the parameter of the roughness of the treated surface, to increase its hardness, to increase efficiency and to decrease the cost of the working tools.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the expanded production process capabilities, the increased parameter of the roughness of the treated surface and its hardness, the increased efficiency and the decreased cost of the working tools.
