SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to ceramic industry and may be applied in production of the conical products made out of the quartzy ceramics and other ceramic materials by the method of the aqueous slip casting in plaster molds. The device for molding the ceramic shells out of the aqueous slip includes the moisture-absorbing mold, the male mold with the flange supplied with the centering coupling rod, the guiding pillars, replenishing reservoirs and the priming fitting pipe. The male mold is made composite out of the cone and the shell telescope jointed along the cylindrical surface and interconnected by the gear of the mutual relocation. At that on the butt of the shell abutted with the cone there is the stationary fixed ring made out of the easily deformable material, for example - caoutchouc or polymeric compounds. The gear of the mutual relocation is made in the form of the screw spindle screwed into the transitional disk and with one cone movably fixed on the flange of the male mold. At that the transitional disk is stationary linked with the cone by the tractions passing through the through holes in the flange. The technical result of the invention is the possibility of manufacture of the polythickness products of the conical form with the thickening at the base, that allows to reduce the raw consumption and sharply to decrease the volume, duration and the costs of the mechanical working of the ceramic fairings.
