FIELD: construction, particularly buildings or groups of buildings for dwelling or office purposes.

SUBSTANCE: multistory building provided with fire rescue and life-support system comprises two serially arranged residential corridor-type modules having facade and end walls and walls facing building yard. Module including stairs and lift shaft is arranged between inner end walls of the building. The module also includes entrance hall of each building story, stairwells, as well as lift shafts with openings at each story, which are opposite to inner end wall of one residential module. The building also includes fire-rescue means arranged from outer end walls of one residential module. Each residential module divided with corridor into two rows and is provided with transversal paired flat groups. Each flat group includes living room with balcony or loggia, sanitary room separated from the corridor with wall provided with service opening, which is adapted to receive service lines, measuring instruments and shutoff means, anteroom directed along the wall from opposite side, built-in kitchen separated from the living room with transformable partition or roll-shutter. Natural forced ventilation system blocks are arranged between built-in kitchen from the first flat side and anteroom and sanitary room from another side thereof. Walls, which separate paired flat groups, are of self-supporting type and are supported at each story so that living rooms may be blocked with each other. The peripheral walls are load-bearing or self-supporting and are supported at each story. All load-bearing or self-supporting walls are provided with openings with bridges located over the openings. The bridges are built to provide flat group usage as independent one-room flat.

EFFECT: possibility of quick and cheap reconstruction of one-room flat group into-room or three-room ones having increased comfort, provision of quick people, including handicapped people, evacuation in case of fire.
