SUBSTANCE: focusing device of "Luneberg lens" type comprising a coaxial set of parallel round axisymmetric dielectric elements of alternate length, differing by the fact that each of elements is also symmetrical relative to the plane perpendicular to the axis, and the diameter and thickness of elements and accordingly distribution of efficient dielectric permeability inside the set of elements are such that they correspond to the Luneberg lens of spherical type.
EFFECT: possibility to carry out focusing of an electromagnetic wave along a radiation axis in two perpendicular planes, scanning of a directivity pattern of a lens antenna in two mutually-perpendicular planes.
