FIELD: powder metallurgy, namely production of cermet powder materials on base of plastic matrix and solid-phase inclusions.

SUBSTANCE: method for producing cermet powder materials comprises steps of mixing charge containing solid and plastic particles of powders in high-power mill; pressing and sintering materials. By force action of working bodies of mill plastic particles are deformed and simultaneously said particles are applied onto solid particles. Action of working bodies is realized with force exceeding compression limit strength and shear limit strength of material of plastic particles and not exceeding value of admissible shear and compression stresses of material of solid particles.

EFFECT: shortened time period of manufacturing process for producing cermet powder.
