FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to off-road walking devices, control systems for different types of fuel and types of heating. Proposed engine has cylinders, pistons with rods, boiler for operation on liquid or solid fuel, travel-motion units with devices converting translational motion into rotation. Cylinder are elongated by value of strokes of piston crown rods and are provided with through slots to let rods out for connection with central rod. Cylinders are connected over cylinder generatrix connected by end face covers with outputs along longitudinal axis of central rods forming sealed case inside.
EFFECT: elimination of inertia of movable parts, facilitated coupling with actuating mechanism and manufacture of cylinder-piston pairs, improved sealing for expansion and cooling reagents, simplified design of fuel combustion chamber.
