FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to propulsion engineering. Internal combustion engine comprises working cylinder with actuating piston, prechamber with spark plug, combustion chamber having cylindrical shape, supercharger of fuel and air mixture arranged in the form of compressor cylinder with piston and equipped with device for fuel supply and channels of air and fuel supply, and also channels for supply of fuel and air mixture in combustion chamber, besides, check valve is installed between channel of fuel supply and compressor cylinder, and prechamber is arranged in the form of hemisphere or truncated cone, diameter of prechamber base is equal to combustion chamber, engine is equipped by one or several pairs of channels for supply of fuel and air mixture to combustion chamber, axes of which are directed pairwise opposite to each other, besides angle between axes of these channels and axis of combustion chamber is selected in interval between point of these channels axes crossing on central electrode of spark plug and point of combustion chamber axis crossing with bottom of actuating piston, when it is located in upper dead point.

EFFECT: higher stability and efficiency of engine operation, lower fuel consumption and toxicity of spent gases.
