FIELD: medicine, namely cardio-vascular surgery, possibly investigations concerning parameters of valves of aorta and lung artery and their carcass-free substitutes.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of placing valve in vertical position in chamber between outlet of pumping device of testing stand and damper. Valve is secured by means of pneumatic suctions arranged in commissural zones of valve and fixed along their height. Apparatus includes testing chamber for valve, pumping device and damper. Housing of apparatus is provided with struts having pneumatic suctions arranged in commissural zones of valve. Struts have shape corresponding to that of commissural zones of valve; their walls engaging with valve are elastic ones and pneumatic suctions are arranged in them. All other walls are rigid ones. Space between walls of struts is communicated with pneumatic suctions and with pneumatic sucking off device.
EFFECT: possibility for keeping natural contours of valve.
