FIELD: extrusion equipment; production of extruded food-staff in food-processing industries.

SUBSTANCE: proposed extruder has housing, screw feeder with drive and molding head with tip and taper core. Taper core is provided with shaft. Taper core is sectionalized. It consists of two parts; each part may be regulated in direction and rotational speed by means of coaxial shafts and reduction gear. One shaft is solid and is located inside hollow shaft. Tip performs reciprocating motion along extruder axis by means of rack mechanism and splines found on inner surface of tip where guides rigidly connected with surface of outlet end of extruder body are located. Shape of guides on extruder body copies shape of splines on tip and guides are received by splined slots of tip. Gear wheel of rack mechanism rigidly secured on its shaft is thrown into engagement with rack rigidly secured to tip. Taper angles of inner part of tip and taper core are so selected that clearance in between them has form of taper circular passage. Outer surface of last part of core and inner surface of taper part of tip are knurled for obtaining the required shape of product. Extruded product does not require further grinding.

EFFECT: improved quality of finished product.
