FIELD: mechanical engineering; tower cranes.
SUBSTANCE: proposed foldable part of tower crane has frame with eyes on its lower side for connection with tower and eyes in front part of frame for connection with crane boom, and strut, post and spring stop hinge coupled with frame. Frame is made with beam elongated towards strut and with hinged support secured on end of beam. Post and strut rest on beam and support in mounting and traveling positions of crane upper part. Spring stop is arranged on frame in horizontal position, strut is arranged on end of beam, and members of brace are arranged between strut and post. One member of brace rests by one end on front part of strut. In traveling position, upper end of post is located higher than hinge joint fastening it to frame. Free end of strut is located lower than hinge joint fastening it to frame. Hinge connecting members of brace is located between free end of strut and hinge joint connecting strut and frame.
EFFECT: reduced labor input in mounting of crane, increased safety in mounting.
