FIELD: special compositions.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions used for applying covers based on organosilicon compounds able to swell at high temperatures, among them to compositions used for applying swelling covers for fireproofing wood. Invention describes a composition based on aqueous solution of silicate of the general formula: M2O*xSiO2*yH2O wherein M means Na, K, Li or ammonium; x = 2.5-3.6; y = 2-5 and containing from 45% to 70% of nonvolatile substances and methyl- or dimethylalkoxy(phenoxy)silanes of the general formula: (CH3)nSi(OR)4-n wherein R means (C1-C4)-alkyl or phenyl; n = 1 and 2 and taken in the amount 0.7-10% of mass of the composition aqueous solution. The composition contains additionally alkylsiliconate of the general formula: MzH(3-z)OSiR1 wherein M means Na, K, Li or ammonium; R1 means -CH3, -C2H5; z = 1-3 and taken in the amount 0.7-5% of mass of the composition aqueous solution; substituted trialkoxysilane of the general formula: A-Si(OR1)3 wherein A means Q-(CH2)3- or CH2=CH-; Q is chosen from the following groups: NH2CONH-, OCN-, -NH2; R1 means -CH, -C2H5 taken in the amount 0.2-6.3% of mass of the composition aqueous solution; water-soluble polyhydric alcohol or carbohydrate comprising three hydroxyl groups in molecule, not less, wherein polyhydric alcohol or carbohydrate is chosen from the following compounds: glycerol, sucrose, fructose, glucose, carboxymethylcellulose or their mixtures, and oxyethylated derivatives of indicated polyols; borates; alkoxypolysiloxanes of the general formula: (RO)n(CH3)3-nSiO[Si(CH3)2O]kSi(CH3)3-n(OR)n wherein R means (C1-C4)-alkyl; n = 1 and 2; k ≥ 0 wherein alkoxysilanes of the general formula: (CH3)nSi(OR)4-n represent a mixture of methyl- and dimethyl-derivatives in their mole ratio from 1:1 to 1:10; R means (C1-C4)-alkyl; ammonia. Proposed composition provides effective fireproofing of wood.

EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of lacquer.
