FIELD: medicine, surgery.
SUBSTANCE: in a chessboard order it is necessary to make longitudinal weakening incisions of 4 cm length and at the distance of 4 cm against each other, at anterior wall of the sheath of rectus muscle of abdomen from one side and at posterior wall of the sheath of rectus muscle of abdomen from the opposite side; while suturing a hernial defect with inferior stitch of 8-shaped suture one should suture median edge of dissected posterior wall of the sheath of rectus muscle and the edge of aponeurotic foramen from the opposite side, and with superior stitch one should suture median edge of dissected anterior wall of the sheath of rectus muscle and the edge of aponeurotic foramen from the opposite side that strengthens abdominal wall due to adaptation of the tissues under suturing in oblique plane followed by forming a firm post-surgical cicatrix.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
