FIELD: medicine, surgery.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with carrying out function-saving operations for reconstruction of cartilaginous carcass and that of laryngeal respiratory function after its resection on removal of tumor lesion. One should reconstruct laryngeal integrity with the help of autotransplant being a trapezoid muscular-bony fragment out of scapular spine at a transverse artery and a neck's vein with the fragment of trapezoid muscle, moreover, it is necessary to keep the link between a muscle and autotransplant which should be fixed towards the edges of the defect of laryngeal cartilaginous carcass. The innovation enables to obtain the transplant of sufficient sizes for reconstructing cartilaginous carcass even at considerable laryngeal defect. The presence, moreover, of scapular spine being of a certain value and of sufficient mechanical strength provides transplant's carcass function at further forming the laryngeal lumen to reconstruct respiratory function.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of plasty.
