SUBSTANCE: declared group of inventions refers to veterinary virology and concerns a peptide-like compound showing the antiviral properties, and also a method for preparing it. That is ensured by synthesis at 22°C for 24 h and molar ratio of the following components: 1,12-dodecanediamine - ethyldiisopropylamine - N-hydroxysuccine imide ester N^"б", NI^m-di-tert-butyloxycarbonyl-L-histidine 2.3: 5.1: 5.1 in ethylacetate as a solvent, N, N-dimethylethylene diamine added to a reaction mixture (1 mole, 110 mcl) and mixed for 30 min, then sequentially washed out in 2 % citric acid (20 ml), water (20 ml), saturated solution NaHCO₃ (20 ml) and water (20 ml); the solvent is removed in vacuum, by dissolving the rest of the mixture "ТФУ":CH₂Cl₂=1:1 (5 ml); the reaction mixture is kept for 1 h at room temperature, protective groups are removed by trifluoroacetic acid in vacuum, and the rest is boiled off with ethanol (3×10 ml).

EFFECT: peptide-like compound allows extending the range of antiviral agents for treating and preventing cattle viral diseases with reliable reduction of virus reproductions due to stability of the chemical compound and preserved antiviral activity for 2 years.
