FIELD: chemistry; alcohol production.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to the food industry, and particularly to obtaining rectified alcohol. The method allows for obtaining rectified alcohol using a distillation method and involves further purification of the alcohol from organic acids and other tail impurities. This is done by extraction of a loot from the boiler of the epuration column and extraction of fusel oil components and other intermediate impurities from the fusel oil fraction from the vapour phase of plates in the middle zone of stripping part of the epuration column and the fraction of intermediate impurities from the liquid phase of plates in the extraction part of this column, lower than the point of extraction of the epurate. The method also involves concentrating impurities with high specific flow of hydro-selection water in the upper zone of the concentration part of the epuration column. Extraction of methanol, acetaldehyde and other head impurities is done in the extraction part of the methanol column using high flow rate of heating steam. The column for concentrating methanol is heated using vapour from the vapour space of the feeding plate of the methanol column.
EFFECT: obtaining high quality rectified alcohol with low expenditure on its production.
