FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: system contains at least one radiation source for irradiating particles, one device for measuring radiation reflected from particles in form of a camera, one evaluation block made with possible determining of granule-metric composition of particles. System additionally contains laser range finder, mounted in parallel to camera, and estimation block is made in form of adaptive neuron network block with possible learning on real data of laboratory research of granule-metric composition, corresponding time-wise to measured intensiveness distribution of reflected electromagnetic radiation.

EFFECT: increased precision when estimating granule-metric composition of free-flowing materials.
