FIELD: metallurgy; rolling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multiroll mill stand, particularly, to six-high cluster mill stand. Proposed multiroll mill stand is furnished with device for axially shifting and interlocking of movable intermediate and/or work rolls, and carriages of roll housing are made sliding. Rolls can be shifted axially in opposite directions by means of piston cylinder blocks, and connecting rods are hinge-connected with main beam. Movable beams arranged at both side from roll chucks are made for connection with roll housing through connection beam, and connecting beams are connected to main beam in center by hinge joints. Connecting rods of piston cylinder blocks are hinge-connected to ends of main beam, and each unit of piston cylinders is made for adjustment by means of displacement pickup, depending on conditions movement.
EFFECT: prevention of damage to main beam caused by nonuniform loading of piston cylinder blocks at displacement.
