FIELD: drying of granulated or loose materials.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus comprises cylindrical rotating drum that bears on the rollers. The drum is separated into chambers by baffles. The end chambers are the charging chamber and discharging chamber. The discharging chamber is provided with the discharging ports. The outer side of the drum from the charging section to the discharging section is embraced by the hollow parallelepiped secured to the drum and provided with openings. The discharging chamber is provided with branch pipe for supplying heat-transfer agent. The branch pipe is ended with a funnel to provide uniform distribution of heat-transfer agent.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
