FIELD: construction materials industry; equipment for production of the polymeric granulating filler.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the construction materials industry, in particular, to equipment for production of the polymeric granulating filler. Application of the invention allows to increase the production process capabilities of the steam granulator due to grading of the granules, and also to improve the quality the filler due to reduction of the quantity of the granules possessing the high apparent density. The technical result of the presented invention is extension of the production capabilities of the steam granulator due to its capability of grading of the porous fillers and also to the improved quality of the fillers due to reduction of the quantity of the granules possessing the high bulk density. The technical result is reached by the design of the steam granulator for production of the porous filler, which one consists of the foaming chamber with the loading device. The grading chamber is coaxially rigidly fixed to the foaming chamber and has one unloading fitting pipe arranged in its upper part and the second unloading fitting pipe arranged in its lower part. Inside the grading chamber there is the connected with the mixer arbor through the damping device vibrating arbor with the perforated helicoid made with the enlarging in height diameter, which is not changing on first steps and also has the enlarging in height of the helicoid dimensions of the perforations. At that the helicoid has the rigidly fixed on it the inclined agitator and the protruding upward lateral plate along its whole length. The inclination angle of the helix of the helicoid is equal α = 10-30°. In the lower part of the grading chamber at the level of the unloading fitting pipe there is the coaxially arranged truncated cone with its smaller base upward and rigidly fixed to the grading chamber body and with the cone smaller base side protruding upward at the inclination angle of the generatrix equal to the inclination angle of the agitator. The steam granulator may have the height of the side plate of the helicoid and the height of the side of the truncated cone accordingly equal to Hh = (4-6)Dm, where Dm - the mean diameter of graded granules, and Htc = (0.5-0.8)S, where S - the pitch of the helicoidal surface. The steam granulator may contain the worm feeder with the increasing screw pitch along the run of the material and made with the possibility of the fine continuous adjustment of the rotation frequency. The steam granulator may have the diameter of the unloading truncated cone equal to the smallest diameter of the perforated helicoidal surface, and the inclination angle of the agitator to the horizon may constitute γ=30-50°.
EFFECT: the invention ensures extension of the steam granulator capabilities to produce the porous fillers, the improved quality of the fillers, the reduced quantity of the granules possessing the high bulk density.
