FIELD: heating, drying.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to drying equipment and is intended for granulated and bulk material drying. Drying aggregate is comprised by three concentric drums attached rigidly to each other, mounted horizontally and rotating simultaneously. External drum 3 stands on carrying rollers 4 and has discharge openings 5, as in the middle and internal drums. Internal cavities of all three drums are covered by regular hollow helical parallelepipeds attached rigidly to a drum. The parallelepipeds have different angles of helix, internal drum 1 from loading to discharge part is covered by several regular hollow helical parallelepipeds 13 attached rigidly to a drum, where each further helix is displaced against the previous one, and external drum has a shape limited by incomplete cylindrical surface where one edge of side surface overlaps with the other end, forming a slot along the whole drum length, through which heat carrier passes evenly to the middle drum. Internal drum 1 features pipe 7 installed for heat carrier supply and ending with flares 8 in amount matching the number of regular hollow helical parallelepipeds attached to the internal drum 1.
EFFECT: drum dryer allows for specific heat consumption for drying and for performance and efficiency improvement.
