FIELD: instrument engineering, applicable as a component of a super fast analog-to-digital converter.
SUBSTANCE: compensation of the bias voltage is accomplished directly on the drains of the input transistors of the differential amplifiers, whose inputs receive similar potentials. The sign of the correcting bias current is set that is contrary to the sign of the bias voltage. The device for realization of the method has a differential amplifier that consists of input transistors and comparators. The correcting assembly is made in the form of a digital-to-analog converter and a control unit.
EFFECT: expanded functional potentialities.
