SUBSTANCE: device contains K-digit parallel ADC1 and K-digit DAC1 with common series resistive divider, low-voltage (N-K+1)-digit ADC2 of progressive approximation, additional low-voltage reference voltage source VrefLV with calibrated voltage lower then ADC2 supply voltage, ADC input and DAC1 output difference signal shaping circuit provided on paired antiphased keys, control unit with ADC1 error digital correction. Besides, ADC calibration method is discovered.
EFFECT: reduced absolute error of conversion and die area of integrated precision analogue-digital indicators of progressive approximation and higher speed of response.
