FIELD: microwave engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed bandpass filter designed for operation in ultrahigh-frequency band and in long-wave part of superhigh-frequency band has n sections, where n ≥ 3, made in the form of threaded hollow metal cylinders joined together to form external cylindrical screen and (n - 2) open disk-type dielectric resonators, each being mounted by means of holder coaxially to one of hollow metal cylinders. End sections of screen have metal end walls with communication components whereto central conductors of coaxial connectors are connected. Each resonator holder is assembled of three thin metal plates whose planes are oriented to radius of hollow metal cylinders and turned through certain angle relative to each other.
EFFECT: ability of suppressing stray passbands due to higher modes and enhanced heat transfer from resonators.
