SUBSTANCE: filter has at least one (n+1)th extra open disc dielectric resonator, an extra flat dielectric holder and a calibration screw. There is a hole in the holder, whose axis is perpendicular to the surface of the flat dielectric holder. The (n+1)th extra open disc dielectric resonator is mounted on the extra flat dielectric holder in a section of a rectangular waveguide on the inner surface of its narrow wall. Flat surfaces of the (n+1)th extra open disc dielectric resonator and the holder are parallel to the plane of the narrow wall of the rectangular waveguide section. There is a threaded hole in the narrow wall, whose axis is perpendicular to the surface of the narrow wall and coincides with the axis of the hole in the flat dielectric holder. The diametre of the hole in the holder is greater than the diametre of the calibration screw fitted in the thread of the flat dielectric holder.

EFFECT: increased gradient of the amplitude-frequency curve of the bandpass filter without increasing the number of its resonant links.
