FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out computer tomography morphometry examination of brain. Brain tissue and liquor space volume is measured. Liquor space volume being 3.8-10% from cranial cavity volume corresponds to light hydrocephalia degree. The value being from 10.1 to 30%, moderate severity degree is diagnosed. Liquor space volume being greater than 30% of cranial cavity volume, severe hydrocephalia case is diagnosed.
EFFECT: high accuracy of diagnosis.
