FIELD: oil production, particularly to remove torn pipes from gas, gas-condensate and oil wells.
SUBSTANCE: method involves connecting overshot to drill string so that overshot is concentric to tap and located below it; lowering the tap connected to drill string in well and fishing torn pipe string with overshot; passing torn pipe inside overshot and fixing thereof by fastening lower edge of torn pipe clutch with overshot collet; connecting tap with torn pipe collet; reciprocating drill string and lifting thereof by means of fishing thread of the tap and overshot collet.
EFFECT: increased reliability and decreased assemblage and maintenance costs.
